Terms & Conditions

All warranties and guarantees of electrical and mechanical goods will be held on the buyer’s behalf , in case of faulty workmanship or other claims requiring exchange or repair. New Concept Furnishings will provide the buyer with such information as is required to claim under the manufacturer’s warranties. This excludes normal wear and tear or accidental damage.

Quotations are valid for thirty (30) calendar days and are exclusive of VAT.  Prices will be honoured during this period only.  Beyond this period, the prices (excluding VAT) are liable to change.

All prices for packages containing made to measure window blinds or curtains are subject to site survey.  This also applies to separate window blinds and curtain quotations.  Whilst an allowance is made for window blinds, New Concept Furnishings reserve the right to revoke this allowance if excessive or specialist blinds are required for a particular apartment.  We also reserve the right not to disclose any window measurements that are solely the property of New Concept Furnishings.

New Concept Furnishings will either make good by repair or the supply of a replacement, defects which, under proper use, appear within a period of 365 days after the goods have been delivered, provided that: the buyer notifies New Concept Furnishings of the defects in writing; and New Concept Furnishings is satisfied that the defects arise solely from faulty design (other than a design made, furnished or specified by the buyer for which New Concept Furnishings have disclaimed responsibility in writing), materials or workmanship. This excludes normal wear and tear or accidental damage. The repaired or replacement goods will be delivered to the buyer to the original place of delivery, but otherwise subject to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

The buyer must notify New Concept Furnishings in writing and within 7 days of delivery if there is a shortage of items promised to them in the Furniture Pack Inventory. All items will be checked by New Concept Furnishings on delivery and will notify the buyer if items are outstanding. New Concept Furnishings shall not incur or accept any liability for items lost after the delivery of such items.

The risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer on the delivery date. Under no circumstances will New Concept Furnishings be liable for any loss or injury attributable to defects in the goods or otherwise in relation to the performance of any contract entered into between New Concept Furnishings and the buyer. The buyer shall indemnify New Concept Furnishings against any claim for such damage, loss or injury made against New Concept Furnishings by a third party.

The property in the goods shall not pass to the buyer until New Concept Furnishings have received the payment (and any other sums that are due or owing to New Concept Furnishings) in full, whether or not delivery has been made.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to allow New Concept Furnishings access to the property either by themselves or accompanied through a nominated agent. If arranged access is not available on the day of delivery New Concept Furnishings reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300.00 + VAT per team of two in attendance.  If for any reason the date of furnishing requires changing, written notice must be provided at least 2 working days in advance.
